About the Role:
Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing company, is seeking a talented AI Data Scientist to join their team in either London, Manchester, or Edinburgh. As an AI Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions and AI product development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets from various sources
  • Develop, train, and validate machine learning and AI models to solve business problems
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Collaborate with data engineers, machine learning engineers, and product teams to implement AI solutions
  • Communicate findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and data science

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib
  • Strong foundation in statistics, data analysis, and machine learning concepts (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
  • Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
  • Excellent understanding on ethical AI
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline — or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly

     


Desirable Skills (training provided where necessary):

  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and compliance considerations
